About Laura

Laura Olsonoski, OTD, OTR/L, ATP, is passionate about helping individuals and families find homes that support their goals, lifestyles, and long‑term well‑being. As a Doctor of Occupational Therapy, Assistive Technology Professional, business owner, and community advocate, Laura brings a unique perspective to real estate rooted in more than a decade of helping people live safely, independently, and with dignity.

As the owner of Moving Mountains Therapy Center, she has dedicated her career to serving individuals of all abilities throughout Montana. Through her work, Laura has developed extensive expertise in home safety, accessibility, universal design, aging in place, assistive technology, and environmental modifications that support individuals across every stage of life.

As an occupational therapist, she completes home safety assessments, helping individuals and families identify safety concerns, accessibility barriers, and opportunities to improve function and independence within their living environments. This experience has provided her with a deep understanding of how people interact with their homes and how thoughtful design and planning can significantly impact quality of life, confidence, and independence.

Laura believes that a home is much more than a structure—it is the place where people build their lives, raise their families, celebrate milestones, recover from challenges, create memories, and establish roots within their communities. Whether a client is searching for a home to age in, grow in, raise a family in, recover in, or enjoy their next chapter, Laura is committed to helping them find a home and community that truly align with their needs, values, and goals.

She understands that the right environment can provide safety, independence, connection, and peace of mind, and she is passionate about helping individuals and families find places where they can flourish for years to come.

Throughout her career, Laura has worked alongside individuals and families navigating some of life's most significant transitions. She has witnessed firsthand the impact that a well‑designed and supportive environment can have on a person's confidence, independence, and overall well‑being. She has also seen how housing challenges can create barriers to participation, safety, and quality of life. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to helping clients identify homes and living environments that align with both their current needs and future goals.

A significant part of her occupational therapy work has involved collaborating with builders, contractors, lenders, healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, case managers, and community agencies. Over the years, she has developed strong relationships with trusted community partners and resources that can help support clients throughout their homeownership journey. She understands the importance of connecting people with the right resources when needed and enjoys helping clients navigate the often‑complex decisions that accompany major life transitions.

At the heart of everything Laura does is a commitment to helping people find not just a house, but a home—a place where they can live safely, independently, confidently, and with dignity, surrounded by a community and environment that is truly perfect for them.
